In anticipation of the Kalipuja festivities on 12th November, Eastern Railway has announced the operation of additional local trains departing from Sealdah station. Recognizing the likelihood of increased passenger traffic on this special occasion, the railway authorities have decided to augment the train services on Sunday. Special EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) trains will be introduced for the convenience of passengers, operating on both up and down lines, with stops at all stations.
To facilitate the seamless movement of passengers during Kalipuja, Eastern Railway has scheduled special train services, including Sealdah-Dankuni, Sealdah-Barasat, Sealdah-Ranaghat Junction, Baruipur Junction-Sealdah, Dankuni-Sealdah, Barasat-Sealdah, Ranaghat Junction-Sealdah, and Sealdah-Baruipur Junction routes. The departure and arrival timings of these special trains have been carefully planned to accommodate the anticipated surge in travelers on this auspicious day.
