Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has issued a blunt warning to the Indian cricket team, stating that if they fail to capitalize on the current World Cup and miss out on the title, they might have to wait for another three World Cups to have a shot at it.
Shastri, speaking on the Club Prairie Fire podcast, emphasized that the current squad, with a majority of players at their peak, presents India with its best opportunity to end their ICC title drought. He praised the exceptional performance of the bowling attack, considering it the best India has ever had in 50 years of white-ball cricket.
