In a significant development, rescue agencies engaged in the challenging mission to extract 41 trapped workers from a partially collapsed tunnel in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, have achieved a breakthrough. A six-inch pipe has been successfully installed into the debris, enabling authorities to establish communication with the workers and provide essential supplies. Anshu Mansish Khalkho, director of the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), shared that this achievement marks a critical step forward after nine days of relentless efforts.
