Following High Court orders, Bali Municipality has commenced the demolition of an illegal and contentious house in Liluah. Substantial police forces have been deployed for security, and residents are being evacuated as the demolition work progresses.
Despite the issuance of the demolition order a day ago, the administration initially faced challenges due to non-compliance with High Court guidelines and opposition from the residents. The removal of illegal structures began this morning amidst continued protests from the affected residents.
