25-year-old commits suicide at Rabindra Sadan station; Metro services disrupted for an hour

  • A 25-year-old man commits suicide by jumping in front of a southbound metro at Rabindra Sadan Station 
  • The incident took place at 8:50 am leading to a temporary disruption in metro services from 8:50 am to 9:50 am
  • The motive behind the suicide remains unclear, investigations underway

25-year-old commits suicide at Rabindra Sadan station; Metro services disrupted for an hour

In a distressing incident on Thursday morning, a young man, identified as Sanjoy Pugalia, aged 25, committed suicide by jumping in front of the southbound metro at Rabindra Sadan Station. This incident caused a temporary disruption in metro services until  9:30 am, posing significant inconvenience to commuters. Metro services were resumed at 9:50 am. 

The motive behind Sanjoy's drastic decision remains unclear.
