  • Survey indicates that other world leaders, including US President Joe Biden (37%), Canadian PM Justin Trudeau (31%), UK PM Rishi Sunak (25%), and France President Emmanuel Macron (24%), have comparatively modest approval ratings
  • Survey comes on the heels of the BJP's significant victories in assembly elections, providing momentum for PM Modi and his party ahead of the 2024 general elections

PM Modi leads global leaders with highest approval rating of 76%: survey

In the latest 'Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker' survey conducted by US-based consultancy firm Morning Consult, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emerges as the world leader with the highest approval rating, standing at an impressive 76%.

The survey reveals that 76% of people in India approve of PM Modi's leadership, with 18% expressing disapproval and 6% refraining from offering an opinion.

This commanding rating significantly surpasses other global leaders, as the second-highest approval is held by Mexico President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador at 66%, followed by Switzerland President Alain Berset at 58%.
