In a significant boost to Bihar's industrial landscape, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar formally inaugurated the newly established Britannia Biscuit Factory in Bihta, Patna, on Tuesday. The state-of-the-art facility, set up at a cost of approximately Rs 250 crore, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister during an event attended by key dignitaries.
Before the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conducted a thorough inspection of various industrial institutions located in Sikandarpur, showcasing his commitment to the development of the industrial sector in the region. Following these engagements, he proceeded to Saffron.
Accompanying Chief Minister Nitish Kumar were Industries Minister Sameer Kumar Mahaseth and former Maner Assembly MLA Suryadev Tyagi, signifying the collective effort and support for the industrial expansion in Bihar.
The focus of the inauguration was on the food processing unit of the private company situated in the Sikandarpur industrial area of Bihta. This facility, with a significant investment of Rs 250 crore, represents a major milestone in enhancing the state's manufacturing capabilities. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Plug and Play Shed at Sikandarpur in Bihta, contributing to the infrastructural development in the region.
The newly inaugurated Britannia Biscuit Factory, spanning 30 acres of land in Sikandarpur, has ignited enthusiasm among the local community. The commencement of production at the factory marks a crucial step in leveraging Bihar's economic potential in the food processing and manufacturing sectors.
