A tragic incident occurred on Thursday morning on Asian Highway-2 near Gonsaipur in Bagdogra, as a Bolero lost control and collided with a passenger bus. The occupants of the Bolero, who were reportedly traveling from Dakshineswar to Kalimpong, experienced a fatal collision with the bus. Regrettably, one person lost their life on the spot, and five others sustained injuries, with two individuals reported to be in critical condition.
Upon receiving information about the accident, the Bagdogra police station promptly responded, reaching the scene to take custody of the crashed Bolero. An investigation into the entire matter is currently underway, led by the Bagdogra police station, to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision and any contributing factors.
