West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee visited SSKM Hospital in Kolkata on Friday afternoon for a routine checkup, reassuring that there is no cause for concern. At SSKM hospital, a designated cabin in the Woodburn Block has been prepared for the Chief Minister, with provisions for X-rays if necessary.

Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goel and Health Secretary Narayan Swarup Nigam were also present at the hospital. Mamata, who has been experiencing leg issues, clarified that her visit is part of a routine foot checkup, expressing that her overall health is sound, and she maintains an active lifestyle.

While at the hospital, Mamata stated, "Health is fine. I came for a foot checkup. I am walking; everything is fine. Walking twenty thousand steps every day. I don't have time. I just came to get X-ray done."
