"Sharia Law in Bengal!!" : Kangana Ranaut reacts on couple assault case
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has brought the recruitment corruption case against Sujay Krishna Bhadra, known as 'Kalighater Kaku,' to the attention of the Calcutta High Court.
Bhadra is reported to be bedridden at SSKM Hospital, raising suspicions of his actual health condition, says BJP. The High Court, responding to the matter, has issued notices to all involved parties. The case was presented on Tuesday before a bench comprising Chief Justice TS Shivagnam and Justice Supratim Bhattacharya, with the Chief Justice scheduling a hearing for Thursday.
Earlier, on December 20, a PIL was filed in the High Court, alleging that SSKM Hospital is providing refuge to individuals accused in various corruption cases. Lawyer Ram Prasad Sarkar submitted a plea to the court, asserting the misuse of medical services in one of the state's crucial government hospitals. Subsequently, a case was filed after BJP's made similar allegations.
