Resign in 10 days or be "killed like Baba Siddique": Death threat sent to UP CM Yogi Adityanath
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena (SRRKS) chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. On Wednesday, the NIA arrested a key accused, Ashok Kumar, during raids at 31 locations in Rajasthan and Haryana.
The arrested individual is closely associated with gangster Rohit Godara, who claimed responsibility for Gogamedi's murder through social media and has connections with incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The murder, which occurred on December 5, 2023, in Jaipur, triggered widespread protests, leading to the federal anti-terror probe agency taking over the case from the Rajasthan police.
