Kolkata's air quality now "hazardous" post Diwali and Kali Puja celebrations
On Friday, a wave of fear swept through Mumbai as at least eight distinguished institutions, including the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum in Colaba, Nehru Science Centre in Worli, and Byculla Zoo, received bomb threats via email. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum was the first to report receiving the threatening email, followed by others on the list.
Authorities responded promptly by intensifying security measures at critical installations throughout the city, deploying police and bomb detection and disposal squads to inspect the mentioned locations. In response to the incident, a complaint was filed by the museum management, leading to the registration of an offense under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code against unidentified individuals at the Colaba Police Station.
