A major disaster was narrowly avoided in Rajasthan as two coaches of the Jodhpur-Bhopal Express derailed near Kota Junction. The incident occurred late on Friday night, bringing train movement on the affected railway track to a halt, forcing the diversion of multiple trains.
Fortunately, there were no reported casualties in the incident, providing a sense of relief to authorities and passengers alike. The train, en route from Jodhpur to Bhopal, experienced the derailment when it reached Kota Junction, causing panic among passengers. Prompt action from the railway team ensured the safe evacuation of passengers, and while the track has been restored, the affected train is running approximately three hours behind schedule.
