In anticipation of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a half-day public holiday on Monday. The half-day holiday will be observed until 2:30 pm, allowing residents to participate in the historic event.
The decision aligns with the official notification released by the government, declaring the closure of all government offices for the first half of the day on January 22, 2024, to commemorate the pran pratistha of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Furthermore, the central government has also declared a half-day holiday for all central government offices, institutions, and industrial establishments on the same date.
