In anticipation of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla and Republic Day events in Ayodhya, the Saharanpur police are on high alert, deploying heavy police forces in sensitive areas. The security measures are part of the preparations for the Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha program scheduled for January 22, as well as Republic Day celebrations.
The police administration, led by SSP Dr. Vipin Tada, is taking proactive steps, including increased security in railway stations, sensitive areas, and rigorous checks on trains. Former criminals are under scrutiny, with their re-verification underway, and continuous monitoring of people residing near railway tracks and tenants from outside the district.
