PM Modi pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on 76th death anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other dignitaries, commemorated the 76th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in Delhi on Tuesday. In a tweet, PM Modi expressed his homage, stating, "I pay homage to Pujya Bapu on his Punya Tithi. I also pay homage to all those who have been martyred for our nation. Their sacrifices inspire us to serve the people and fulfill their vision for our nation." The ceremony at Rajghat witnessed the presence of President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Defence Minister Rajnathsingh, who also laid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on this solemn occasion.

Joining the nationwide observance of Martyrs' Day on January 30, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi in Lucknow. Simultaneously, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi honored the Father of the Nation in Chennai. The day holds significance as it marks the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and serves as a tribute to his immense contribution to India's freedom struggle.
