In a significant development, a court in Varanasi has granted permission for the Hindu community to offer prayers inside the sealed basement of the Gyanvapi mosque. The court's ruling specifically allows Hindu devotees to conduct worship at 'Vyas Ka Tekhana,' a sealed section within the Gyanvapi mosque located in Varanasi.
Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, who represented the Hindu side in court, stated, "Hindu side allowed to offer prayers at 'Vyas Ka Tekhana.' The District Administration will have to make arrangements within 7 days. Everyone will now have the right to perform puja."
Hindu side lawyer, Advocate Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi also said, "Today right has been given to perform puja at 'Vyas Ka Tekhana' and the court has given the order to the District Officer for compliance of the order within a week..."
