Contrary to earlier reports of veteran actor-politician Mithun Chakraborty being hospitalized in Kolkata due to chest pain, his daughter-in-law Madalsa Sharma has refuted the claims, stating that it was merely a routine check-up. Addressing the speculation, the Anupamaa actress said that it is untrue.
As per reports, Madalsa slammed the reports of his hospitalisation and said, "It was just a routine check up, who is spreading these rumours?"
Mithun's elder son Mimoh Chakraborty also told media that the veteran actor is "100 per cent fine and it was a routine checkup."
Earlier on Saturday, reports emerged suggesting that the renowned Disco Dancer actor had been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata following discomfort and complaints of chest pain.
