Fatal road accident claims multiple lives on GT Road in Kaimur, Bihar

Tragedy struck on Sunday night as a fatal road accident occurred on GT Road near Devkali under the jurisdiction of Mohania police station in Kaimur district, Bihar, claiming the lives of several individuals. Among the deceased identified were Bhojupri, son of Vijay Shankar Pandey from Dhararia village in Buxar district, along with renowned singer Chhotu Pandey (35) and lyricist Satyaprakash Mishra alias Bairagi Baba (42) from neighboring areas. Additional victims included Bagish Pandey alias Bholu (17), Shashi Pandey (45), Anu Kumar Pandey (19), Dadhibal Singh (60), Prakash Rai (32), Simran Srivastava (25), and Aanchal Tiwari (23) from various villages and cities.

The tragic accident occurred when a Scorpio vehicle, traveling from Sasaram towards Varanasi, collided with a bike near Devkali village, causing the Scorpio to lose control and veer into the opposite lane, colliding with a container. The impact resulted in fatal injuries to the bike rider and all occupants of the Scorpio. Local authorities, including the police, responded promptly to the scene, initiating rescue efforts and transporting the injured to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examinations. Family members of the deceased arrived at the hospital, distraught and grieving, as the community reels from the devastating loss.
