West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addressed a public gathering in Jhargram, emphasizing her commitment to complete housing projects if the central government fails to meet deadlines. She cautioned against a potential LPG price surge under BJP rule.
Addressing the gathering, Mamata Banerjee said, "If BJP wins the elections then it can increase the price of LPG cylinder by Rs 1500-2000. After which we will again go back to our old days and collect wood for burning fire".
During her speech, Banerjee highlighted the urgency of housing construction under government schemes, pledging to step in if necessary to ensure completion. Her remarks also focused on the looming threat of increased LPG prices under BJP governance, warning of potential financial hardships for ordinary citizens.
