The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted an extensive 18-hour search at the residence of Congress MLA Amba Prasad in Dhurwa, Ranchi. The search, which commenced on Monday and concluded around 12:28 am on Tuesday, saw the ED team thoroughly scouring Amba Prasad's premises. Following the conclusion of the search operation, Amba Prasad made allegations suggesting the raid was politically motivated, claiming she faced mistreatment and torture throughout the day. She further accused the officers of subjecting her to prolonged periods of standing and claimed they even reached her bedroom during the search.
She said 'I was tortured throughout the day, I was kept standing at one place for hours.'
