In a tragic incident, an under-construction five-storey building collapsed in Kolkata's Garden Reach area, resulting in the loss of at least five lives, including two women. The collapse also left several others injured, stirring panic and grief among residents. Emergency services rushed to the scene to rescue survivors and provide medical assistance to the injured.
Following the catastrophe, Governor CV Anand Bose reached Gardenreach, joining efforts to oversee rescue operations and assess the situation firsthand.
