The West Bengal Secondary Board exam results have been declared, revealing a pass percentage of 86.31% among candidates. Chandrachud Sen of Cooch Behar secured the top position in the state with an impressive 99% marks. A total of 57 students have featured in the top ten list.
Notably, Kalimpong district showcased the highest performance in the secondary board examination, outperforming East Midnapore with pass percentage of 96.2%. Following closely behind, East Midnapore secured the second position with 95.4%, while Kolkata claimed the third spot with a pass percentage of 91.6%.
Last year East Medinipur was leading the list with 96.81%, Kalimpong closely trailing at the second with 94.13% and Kolkata at third place with 93.75%.
A total of 57 students secured positions in the top ten merit list, with 45 male and 12 female candidates showcasing exceptional academic achievements.
