Actor Gurucharan Singh, missing since April 22, returned home on Friday. As per reports, citing Delhi Police, Singh had embarked on a religious journey. The actor is well-known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah."
During interrogation, Singh informed police officials that he had left his worldly life to embark on a spiritual journey, visiting gurudwaras in several cities, including Amritsar and Ludhiana. However, he later realized the need to return home.
The police investigation revealed that Singh is a follower of a meditation-practicing sect and had even considered going to the Himalayas for meditation. The Delhi Police had filed a kidnapping case and initiated an investigation to locate him.
Gurucharan Singh's father, Hargit Singh, in a media interaction stated "I had no idea about my son's financial situation. He never told me anything about it. So I am not aware of all this."
Singh, who was visiting his parents in Delhi, was expected to return to Mumbai, leading his family to file a missing person complaint.
