Bihar Kokila & Padma Bhushan awardee Sharda Sinha passes away at the age of 72
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a ride on the Delhi Metro on Thursday, engaging with passengers during his journey. Sharing pictures from the experience on social media platform X, Gandhi expressed his satisfaction with the convenience the Metro has brought to public transportation. Earlier in the day, he addressed a public rally in the national capital, criticizing the BJP and emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the Indian Constitution.
Gandhi condemned the BJP's alleged desire to change the Constitution, stating, "In this election, the fight is for safeguarding the Indian Constitution. It is not simply a book, our Constitution carries thousands of years of ideological heritage of Gandhi, Ambedkar, and Nehru ji." Asserting that the BJP lacks the courage to alter the Constitution, Gandhi emphasized the need for unity among the people of India to protect its core values.
