Kabosu, the Shiba Inu who became an internet sensation and inspired the creation of Dogecoin, has passed away at the age of 19. Kabosu, who also temporarily replaced Twitter's bird logo, had a significant impact on social media culture since capturing attention in 2010.
Kabosu's owner confirmed the dog's death on May 24, noting that the beloved pet had been battling health issues in recent years. Diagnosed with cholangiohepatitis and chronic lymphoma leukemia in 2022, Kabosu's health had been in decline.
