BJP's Pema Khandu to continue as CM of Arunachal Pradesh

Pema Khandu has been chosen once again by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to serve as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. The decision follows a significant victory for the BJP in the state's assembly elections, where the party secured 46 out of 60 seats, marking a landslide win.

Khandu, who has been the Chief Minister since 2016, expressed his gratitude to the people of Arunachal Pradesh for their continued support. He attributed the BJP's success to the developmental work carried out under his leadership and the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP's campaign highlighted infrastructure development, improvements in education and healthcare, and efforts to enhance connectivity in the region.

This victory further consolidates the BJP's influence in the northeastern states, continuing a trend seen over the past several election cycles. Khandu's leadership and the party's strategies, including addressing local issues and promoting regional development, have resonated well with the electorate.
