Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will go to Delhi tomorrow instead of today: Sources

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was scheduled to leave for Delhi this afternoon. According to sources, she has suddenly changed her plans and will not be going to Delhi today. She may go to Delhi on Friday. Another source claims that Mamata Banerjee might cancel her Delhi tour completely. Mamata Banerjee canceled her visit to Delhi because she was supposed to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but ultimately she is unable to meet him.

However, sources say that she may still go to Delhi on Friday because many of her programs in Delhi are already scheduled. The NITI Aayog meeting is set to be held on Saturday. Mamata Banerjee had also sent some documents to NITI Aayog for that meeting. However, many people were saying that Mamata Banerjee might not even give a speech at NITI Aayog. She may only submit documents. It is believed that this meeting will be held under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

The NITI Aayog meeting has also created some 'controversy' in the opposition camp. Congress Chief Ministers have already announced that they are boycotting the meeting. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will not attend. Chief Ministers of Jharkhand and Punjab will also not attend.
