NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
Shooting in Tollygunge has been halted since Tuesday morning, causing a major disruption in the industry. However, a glimmer of hope emerged on Tuesday with the intervention of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Prosenjit Chatterjee was expected to meet with the Chief Minister, and around noon, Dev and Goutam Ghosh joined him at his house before heading to Nabanna together.
At Nabanna, a crucial meeting took place with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, attended by Minister Arup Biswas along with Dev, Prosenjit, and Goutam Ghosh. Their goal was to resolve the ongoing conflict between the federation and the directors. Meanwhile, the production company at the center of the issue held meetings at their office, and the Federation of Technicians and Cine Workers Association gathered at the Technician Studio in the afternoon.
After the meeting, Dev and Prosenjit provided an encouraging update, sharing a picture with Mamata Banerjee and expressing optimism that all problems would be resolved by the afternoon, allowing shooting to resume the next day. Dev thanked the Chief Minister and all stakeholders, which quickly spread online.
The positive news was confirmed in the afternoon: shooting will indeed resume on Wednesday. Rahul Mukherjee will direct the film involved in the SVF conflict. Additionally, a review committee will be formed to amend the federation's rules, with new regulations to be submitted within three months under Minister Arup Biswas' supervision.
