BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala has shared these videos on social media, tagging relevant authorities and calling for swift action against the YouTuber, identified as Gulzar Sheikh. "Identify these anti-nationals who create railway accidents. There have been several instances of sabotage, such as covering signals with paper and placing deliberate obstacles on tracks. Look at Gulzar Sheikh putting stones, cycles, and other obstacles on rail tracks. We need to know how many others are doing this to cause train accidents," Poonawala remarked.
Another social media user added, "This is Mr. Gulzar Sheikh from Lalgopalganj, UP, who places random objects on tracks for YouTube money, endangering thousands of passengers." The account also shared Sheikh's social media links to substantiate their claim.
The videos have sparked outrage among viewers, with accusations that Gulzar is performing these dangerous stunts to gain views, likes, and financial rewards.
In response to the outcry, Gulzar Sheikh was arrested by Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday. A review of Sheikh's YouTube channel, "Gulzar Indian Hacker," reveals a troubling array of videos and shorts featuring him placing various items on railway tracks, highlighting the extent of his reckless behavior.
