Three of a family electrocuted to death in Bokaro

Three members of the same family died in a tragic accident at Camp One of the Marafar police station area of Bokaro, Jharkhand.

The deceased are 45-year-old Sulekha Devi, her 16-year-old daughter Karishma Kumari, and her 20-year-old nephew Prince Kumar. They were electrocuted when lightning struck, causing the motor they were using to get charged.

Sulekha Devi, wife of Ajit Pal who works in a steel yard, went to start the water motor when the incident occurred. Her daughter Karishma and nephew Prince tried to rescue her but also got electrocuted.

Neighbors stopped the flow of current and took them to BGH, where doctors declared them dead. The atmosphere in the area is now gloomy, and the family is devastated. Police are taking legal action and attempting to provide relief to the affected family.
