The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2024 were unveiled today by Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of State for Education and External Affairs. The rankings are now available on the official NIRF website at nirfindia.org.
Marking the ninth edition of the rankings, this year's NIRF saw a substantial increase in participation, with 10,885 institutes across the country taking part—a 200% rise since the rankings were first introduced in 2016.
For the second consecutive year, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has maintained its dominance securing the top position in the overall category.
