A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was shot dead near his house in Bajrangpuri area of Bihar’s Patna on Tuesday. Ajay Sah, who was the General Secretary of the Patna District BJP, was shot dead by two unidentified assailants near his home around 10 P.M.
At the time of the attack, Ajay Sah was sitting inside his milk parlor, which he operated close to his residence. The assailants, who arrived on a motorcycle, fired multiple shots at Sah, killing him on the spot. According to family members, Sah was hit by seven bullets. The police took custody of the body and conducted a post-mortem late at night.
Bihar police have launched an investigation into the incident, but no leads have emerged so far. Despite assurances from the Patna Police that a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team and a dog squad would be dispatched to the scene, neither team had arrived as of the time of this report.
