NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
Union Minister Giriraj Singh was attacked during a public meeting at the Balia Subdivision Office in Begusarai, Bihar, on Saturday. The incident unfolded when a man attempted to assault the minister by swinging a punch and raising slogans against him. The situation quickly escalated, but workers at the event intervened, preventing further harm. The assailant was later arrested by the police.
A video of the incident has surfaced, capturing the chaos as people pushed and shoved the attacker before severely beating him. Fortunately, Giriraj Singh escaped the attack unharmed.
According to reports, the minister was listening to grievances from the public when the assailant grabbed the microphone and began making provocative statements. BJP workers and attendees protested his behavior, leading to the attempted assault. Security personnel swiftly protected Giriraj Singh.
After the incident, Giriraj Singh condemned the attack, accusing the assailant of trying to intimidate him. He stated, "Growing a beard does not make someone a religious leader," emphasizing that such actions would not frighten him.
