Taaza TV has officially started its flagship quiz competition, "KWIZDOM 2.0," aimed at fostering academic excellence and national pride among students in Kolkata. This unique initiative invites students from grades 6, 7, and 8 from the city’s top 100 schools to participate in a journey celebrating India’s glorious history, general knowledge, and current affairs.
The competition begins with preliminary rounds conducted within school campuses. Students will face a 30-minute challenge, answering multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on topics like India’s history, culture, and current events. These rounds will be held either in classrooms or auditoriums, with answers recorded on OMR sheets for accuracy and fairness.
Following the initial stage, the top three scorers—one from each grade—will form a team to represent their school in the advanced rounds. The quiz show will culminate in a spectacular grand finale with a live audience and extensive media coverage.
With over 50,000 students KWIZDOM 2.0 promises to be a monumental event in the city’s academic calendar. Taaza TV’s vision for the contest is to provide students with an engaging platform to demonstrate their knowledge while promoting teamwork, healthy competition, and a love for India’s rich heritage.
