TMC leader accused of cutting and selling govt trees without tender in Bengal’s Debra block

Binod Dey, the TMC area president of Radhamohanpur 11/1 in Debra block, has been accused of cutting down and selling government-owned trees without a proper tender process. The trees, which were planted along the road from Ashari to Radhamohanpur, were allegedly removed and sold without any official authorization. According to the allegations, the proceeds from the sale of the trees were collected at the village panchayat office by Dey. The funds were allegedly handed over to the secretary of the panchayat.
