The West Bengal Madhyamik Examination 2025 is scheduled from February 10 to February 22, 2025, across 2,683 centers. Exams will be held from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM, with the first 15 minutes allocated for reading the question paper. The detailed subject-wise schedule is available on the official website of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE).
To support students during this period, the Kolkata Police has introduced a dedicated helpline at 9432610039. This line is intended to assist with any emergencies or disruptions that may arise during the examination period. Strict security measures have been implemented to maintain the integrity of the exams. Invigilators are prohibited from carrying mobile phones or electronic devices inside examination halls. Candidates found with such gadgets will be barred from writing their exams. Special checks, including washroom inspections, will be conducted to prevent malpractice.
The WBBSE has also addressed administrative delays affecting 181 candidates from 136 schools who were not enrolled on time. These students will receive their admit cards by February 7, 2025, ensuring their participation in the exams. In the previous year, 45 students were disqualified for engaging in malpractice. The board has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards unfair practices and has strengthened security arrangements to uphold exam integrity.
