Mohammad Salim, CPI(M) secretary of West Bengal, said that in 2004, they threw the voter list in Parliament with the support of the Centre to uproot the CPI(M). He accused the Trinamool Congress of basing its politics on Bengali and non-Bengali divisions. Salim claimed that for the past 10 years, he has been giving the Election Commission fake voter lists, yet deceased people are still voting. He further alleged that the BJP and Trinamool Congress are determined to completely destroy the voting process.
