Higher Secondary Board President Chiranjib Bhattacharya, who visited several examination centers in Uttar Dinajpur, confirmed that three students have been suspended for attempting to cheat. "Seven individuals involved in the Malda incident have been identified, and 5-6 more are under scrutiny," he stated. The school principal, whose students were involved in the violence, has also been summoned to Kolkata for questioning. Officials are working to identify more individuals responsible for the attack.
As a disciplinary measure, the accused students have been banned from appearing for exams this year and for the next two years. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken to ensure the smooth conduct of exams and to prevent any further disruptions.
