Congress protests alleged voter list fraud in South Kolkata, claims ghost and out-of-state voters added

The South Kolkata District Congress protested at the District Election Office near Survey Building, alleging voter list tampering. They claimed ghost voters and individuals from Punjab and Haryana were added and questioned how multiple voters shared the same EPIC number.

The District Congress leaders accused authorities of altering Bengal’s voter rolls, citing similar issues in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Delhi. They demanded an investigation, warning that such discrepancies undermine democracy and electoral integrity.

The South Kolkata District Congress organized a protest at the District Election Office near Survey Building at Gopalnagar Crossing. The protestors were urging the Election Commission to verify new voters because they believe that a conspiracy to manipulate the voter list is underway in Bengal.
