Bloodshed over Holi dispute in Bansdroni; Club members & family accuse each other

A family dispute took a violent turn on Holi night, leading to bloodshed involving members of a local club. The family claims that the issue arose due to the festival's color play, while the club members argue that allegations of antisocial activities against the family had been ongoing for a long time. To resolve the situation, the police from Bansdroni police station intervened.

On Friday evening, several members of the Shanti Sangh Club from Pirpukur Road in Bansdroni went to a house in the locality. It is alleged that, during the festival, a teenage girl was beaten up by members of her own family over a dispute related to playing with colors. Upon hearing about this, the club members visited the house at night. Allegations have been made that they were attacked there, resulting in several members being injured. Following the incident, a complaint was lodged at the police station.

For a long time, there had been complaints against the local club, accusing it of involvement in antisocial activities in the area. On the evening of the incident, the club members had gone to the house in an attempt to settle the matter. A member of the club has alleged that the family in question is involved in prostitution. However, the family members claim that the dispute arose over a minor issue while playing with colors. Upon hearing about it, the club members arrived at the scene. The family further alleges that the club members assaulted them.
