Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman has been admitted to Chennai’s Apollo Hospital after experiencing discomfort following his return from London. The musician reportedly felt unwell and decided to visit the hospital for a check-up. Doctors later confirmed that his condition was due to dehydration, worsened by fasting for Ramzan.
A spokesperson for Rahman provided an update on his health, stating, “He returned from London yesterday and felt unwell, so he went to the hospital for a check-up last night. However, according to the doctors, it was due to dehydration, as he has also been fasting for Ramzan.”
Sources close to Rahman have assured fans that he is stable and recovering well. His hospitalization was a precautionary measure, and he is expected to be discharged soon. Fans and well-wishers have expressed their concerns and sent prayers for his quick recovery.
AR Rahman, known for his legendary contributions to Indian and international music, has been actively working on several projects. His recent travels to London were reportedly for professional commitments, including music collaborations and recordings.
