ED raids Nadia village in crackdown on passport and immigration racket

The raid specifically targeted the residence of Dulal Haldar, a resident believed to be at the center of a network that created fake passports and facilitated unauthorized cross-border movement. ED officials reportedly seized several documents, electronic devices, and other materials from the premises during the operation.

According to sources, Haldar had been under ED's surveillance for a while due to his suspected involvement in preparing forged identity documents, including passports, for individuals aiming to migrate illegally. His network is believed to have had far-reaching connections across state and international borders.
