The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will announce the Madhyamik (Class 10) Result 2025 on April 30 at 9 AM. The online result links will be activated by 9:45 AM on official websites including wbresults.nic.in, wbbse.wb.gov.in. The exams were conducted from February 10 to February 22, 2025, across 2,683 centres, with over 9.84 lakh students appearing. The evaluation of answer scripts, which began in March, is set to conclude by April 30.
Students can check their results using their roll number and date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY). The provisional marksheet will include the student's name, roll number, date of birth, subject-wise marks (theory, practicals, internal assessments), total marks, percentage, grade, division, school name, and board details. For students with limited internet access, results can be checked via SMS by sending WB 10 [roll number] to 56263 or 56070, or through mobile apps like “Madhyamik Result 2025” and “Exametc.” Results will also be available on DigiLocker using login credentials. Original marksheets will be distributed by schools starting May 10, 2025, after collection from WBBSE camp offices.
To pass the Madhyamik exam, students must secure a minimum of 34% overall (272 out of 800), along with at least 30 marks out of 90 in theory and 3 out of 10 in internal/practical assessments for each subject. Students who fail in one or two subjects are eligible to appear for the supplementary exams in June 2025, with results expected in July. Those unsatisfied with their results can apply for Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) or Post Publication Review (PPR) within 15 days of result declaration, through schools or the WBBSE website. Fees range from ₹100–₹200 per subject for PPS and ₹300–₹500 per subject for PPR.
