Union Minister of State and BJP's State President Sukanta Majumdar addressed various issues at Kolkata Airport, including the ongoing clash among SSC protesters. He claimed that the violence was part of a government conspiracy to break the movement. Majumdar emphasized that if the list of eligible and ineligible candidates, which was reportedly provided to district education officers, had been presented before the court, there would have been no issue. Additionally, Majumdar commented on the situation along the India-Pakistan border, where heavy shelling has been reported. He stated, "The assault on terrorists will continue, and every drop of blood will be accounted for."
