Ward 23's Councillor Vijay Ojha has raised concerns over the growing issue of illegal parking in Burrabazar, describing it as an increasingly unchecked racket. He emphasized that the situation has become so severe that it is obstructing the movement of ordinary people, making it difficult for them to navigate through the area. Despite Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's ultimatum to address the problem, Ojha stated that illegal parking persists in Burrabazar, showing no signs of diminishing. He also noted that the Mayor appears to be unable to effectively tackle the issue, with the problem continuing unabated.
