Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers from Dumdum Mandal 3 organized a celebration at St. Mary’s School in Dumdum to mark the success of ‘Operation Sindoor.’ Female guardians participated by applying sindoor (vermilion) on their foreheads, while male guardians also wore sindoor in solidarity. The event was organized to celebrate what the organizers referred to as Pakistan’s defeat in Operation Sindoor.
As part of the program, BJP workers distributed sweets and national flags to nearly 1,000 school students. Leaders involved stated that the event was held to promote a sense of patriotism among the students. The celebration, named “Sindoor Utsav,” was conducted with participation from both BJP workers and school guardians.
BJP workers actively led the program, and visuals showed students holding flags and receiving sweets. The celebration was focused on symbolic gestures related to national pride and a message of national solidarity, as described by the organizers.
