Mystery surrounds the recovery of a half-burnt body of an unidentified woman wrapped in a sack in Dum Dum. In Jyotinagar, near Dum Dum Cantonment No. 1 Rail Gate, the half-burnt body of an unidentified woman, approximately 30 years old, was found wrapped in a sack, causing a stir. Senior officials from the Barrackpore Commissionerate were present at the scene. The body has already been taken for post-mortem examination, and the police are working to identify the woman.
At the same time, authorities are examining CCTV footage from the area to determine who abandoned the body by the roadside. The mystery deepens as the body was dumped on a colony road, and an attempt was made to destroy evidence by setting it on fire.
