Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Biswas claimed the move was politically motivated and not due to weather or logistical concerns, as cited. He insisted Bengal has world-class infrastructure and cricketing legacy, yet continues to be sidelined. "This is not just about a match, it's about respect for Bengal and its people," he said, demanding transparency in BCCI’s decision-making process.
