CM Mamata urges special Parliament session after India’s global anti-terror diplomacy to inform public

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has welcomed India’s global diplomatic campaign against terrorism and requested the central government to convene a special session of Parliament after the return of bipartisan delegations sent to various countries. These delegations are tasked with exposing Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and presenting India’s position internationally.

Mamata Banerjee, in a tweet, expressed her support for the government’s efforts and emphasized the need for public transparency. She wrote, “I urge the Union Government to convene a special session of Parliament upon the safe return of the delegation, as I believe the people of this great nation have the foremost right to be informed about the recent conflict and the evolving developments — BEFORE ANYONE ELSE.”

The campaign follows ‘Operation Sindoor,’ under which the central government has prepared concrete evidence of Pakistan-backed terrorism to present before the global community. Various political representatives have visited key countries as part of this outreach to clarify India’s stance and reveal Pakistan’s alleged terrorist activities.

This coordinated diplomatic effort marks a significant step in India’s foreign policy approach, where multiple political parties are involved in representing the country’s position on the international stage. The campaign aims to strengthen India’s diplomatic ties and present unified evidence against terrorism sponsored from across the border.
